A report from Peter and Grace Stone – friends of South Head Anglican Parish – whose visit to Nungalinya coincided with this event this week !

Very moving and joyful graduation ceremony and celebration of Nungalinya’s first Art and Faith course. For some of the women, it was the first time they painted and the creativity poured out of them. Afternoon tea music and dancing followed was truly wonderful and uplifting!

The work of the college in supporting and up skilling indigenous Christians in community is a such positive force in the context of confronting scenes of indigenous homelessness, smashed glass, drinking and vacant despair we’ve seen throughout North West WA and in the NT. Good on you South Head!
