My tale is about Little Sheep
“Little Sheep has been a great way to connect with young families in our local area.

“Little Sheep PlayTime” began in 2019 and now, in the St Peters Church Hall – with children, parents, nannies and grandparents – we enjoy toys and playdough, singing and a story – twice a week. It’s a great joy to see the young families coming and to build friendships with both the adults and the children – and then sometimes to see and greet them around and about the neighbourhood as well.

This year in 2021, we’ve also begun a PlayTime on Sunday morning that we call “Little Sheep Church” where Michael Hay and Wendy Jarratt make wonderful barista coffee and Liti Seroa, Christine Floyd and Bobbie McMahon serve a delicious morning tea. Nicky Hay sings Christian songs with the children and Andrew Keene produces amazing plays. I prepare a craft for the children to take home and each week we hear a story about Jesus and remember that He is, still today, Strong and Kind.

We hope to build a community of children who know and trust all their lives that they are loved by a faithful God.”
