Introducing our very own Gillian Stumbles who is part of our South Head Anglican Parish community!

My earliest memory … is learning to ride a bike round the driveway in our garden

I grew up in … South Africa. My father had a daily farm near the Drakensburg in Natal.

As a child I … dreamed of being a lawyer.   I was too early – there were no women lawyers at that time!

My favourite vacation spot … is Forster near the Myall Lakes

I came to faith … gradually from Sunday School and slowly onwards

An item on my bucket list is … going to a concert in the refurbished concert hall at the Opera House

My first music concert was … going to the last night of the Proms in London

The best decision I ever made was … to have my two sons

I first came to SHAP when … I moved from Narrabeen to Bondi

Currently I am reading … ‘Horse’ by Geraldine Brooks and Christian Reflections by C.S. Lewis

In my spare time I like to … read and do jigsaws

The best advice I ever received was … always to be the best person I can be
