While Andrew and Abi Buchanan are getting copious papers together to enable them to return to Toraga, their home and mission in Sulawesi, the Covid statistics for Indonesia are frightening, with over 3 million cases and over 80,000 deaths to date. We give thanks that we have been so lucky –  32,500 cases in Australia, and 159 deaths.

We pray that they will be able to depart soon. We pray that the Indonesian government manages the vaccine rollout swiftly. We give thanks that Andrew and Abi’s time in Australia has been productive (most notably, baby Timothy!). We give thanks that Susan and James Buchanan are providing a loving home for them.
