Vanuatu workers lift their voices

Pacific Islanders from nations such as Vanuatu and the Solomon Islands have been calling Sunraysia South home as part of a government program which brings them to work in Australia.

Building relationships in Strathfieldsaye

When Rob Edwards started as the minister of Strathfieldsaye Community Church it was a time like no other. It was the middle of the pandemic and Rob had to try and build relationships over the phone, via email and in text messages. Since the end of 2021 Victoria hasn’t seen another lockdown, so this year the congregation has been able to meet each week, encouraging one another in their shared faith in Jesus.

Kirkby and Nursing & Medical Fund to merge
BCA has a long history of working in the medical field. Our medical ministry commenced following Organising Missioner SJ Kirkby’s first visit to Gippsland. He saw the great need for pastoral ministry plus medical care.

Hello from Coober Pedy

It has been five years since we had Field Staff in Coober Pedy, but during this time the Catacomb Church congregation have been served by a number of faithful lay leaders and locums. Simon Hattrell recently spent five weeks there and gives us an idea of what life is like serving in Coober Pedy

When the BCA Field Staff Conference was held in Queensland recently it was exactly four years and three days since the last one (1450 days if you want a larger number). Why is that significant?
