Advent Taize Service

Amidst all the noise of the Christmas season, take some time to reflect and contemplate the arrival of Jesus:
a time to rest in God, and lay down your burdens,
to let beautiful Christian chants bring peace,
to prepare for the coming of the Christ child,
to open yourself to God in meditation and prayer.

The Taizé service has its origin in an ecumenical order started in 1940 in a village in France of the same name. Established as a place of refuge and sanctuary. Here is a past service from St Michael’s that you can watch:
