Dear friends at SHAP, On behalf of Anglicare, I write to sincerely thank you for the wonderful evening you hosted on Friday night. The Supper at Sunset event to support the ministry of One4Life Redfern was a spectacular success. I wish to particularly thank Doreen, Genevieve and their team who worked tirelessly for weeks to bring everything together. I also wish to thank those who donated items for the raffle. I am a little jealous of Rev. Matt Aroney holding the winning ticket for the exquisite Jacket donated by Mr Scarf. (Matt, I looked forward to seeing you wear the jacket next time I visit one Sunday). I am pleased to confirm that on the night there was over $6,000 raised via the raffle and physical donations. This amount does NOT yet include any money that was donated online via the QR code. I will know the final amount once I speak with fundraising next week. Once again, thank you so very much for your generous support. I look forward to seeing how this partnership between SHAP and One4Life Redfern will continue to grow and flourish over the coming years.
