We now bid a Dieu to the Reverend Dan McKinley, Kirsten, and Chloe. We ‘inherited’ Dan with the amalgamation and a splendid thing it was, that we did. Dan’s preaching, teaching, small group leading, and pastoral care, have been wonderfully uplifting and encouraging. As have his technical skills with Zoom services and all manner of electronic communication and personal connection with people. I have very much enjoyed working with Dan and I know that people in our church family have either come to know Christ or grown in faith as a direct result of Dan’s ministry. Dan has been ably supported by Kirsten and I do want to acknowledge Kirsten’s wonderful ministry in leading small groups, teaching RE at Vaucluse PS, and her great skill in connecting with ‘unchurched’ families in the park and inviting them along to Little Sheep Playtime and Little Sheep Church.  All three McKinley’s have formed strong bonds with our church family and so we do wish them every blessing as they return to the UK and settle into this next phase of mission and ministry to which they have been called of God.
