I often think of it this way – nobody sets out to be homeless or to sleep rough. It can happen to absolutely anyone and is usually the result of a series of unfortunate events. 

In the past few years, we’ve seen an increase in the number of women over 55 years who are sleeping rough and with greater cost of living pressures, we shall see more people visiting Rough Edges for support.  

Jesus taught us to never cross the road when we see someone in need, but we should show love and care for everyone – no exceptions! 

I am happy to take part in ‘Roughtober’ for the third year running to support the Rough Edges team, who show God’s loving care to all those who need it.
