Little Sheep

Do you know how many stars are estimated to be in the universe?
Little Sheep Church talked about this on our first Sunday back. Scientists estimate that there are about 200,000,000,000,000,000,000,000 stars in the universe. Which is incredible. But what is more wonderful is that Psalm 147:4 tells us that God has named each star. How encouraging to remember that God names each star, cares for each bird and flower and knows the number of hairs on our heads. His love for us is so comforting!
Little Sheep PlayTime also returned this week. We read and sang about “The Wheels on the Bus” and all that went on during that bus trip.
We played with playdough, blocks, cars and farm animals – and so many thanks to Mr John McDonald and Mr Sam McDonald who built two beautiful dolls houses for our Little Sheep children to enjoy. The children were absolutely delighted to see them as they came through the doors and we are so grateful for Sam and John’s carpentry skills.
It’s great to have new families coming each week and we also learn to say goodbye as others leave to return to their home country, take swimming lessons or start school. It is such a joy to meet so many lovely parents, grandparents and nannies and hopefully to show the love of Jesus to our community in this way.
