Your Will for God’s Work through your Church family

Your Will is a reflection of your values and a wonderful way to show appreciation for what God has done in your life through your church family.

Your Will can also help enable our church family to continue reaching out with God’s word, renewing the East through Christ in both our congregation and community.

Leaving a bequest in your Will, no matter its size, can help provide the resources our church needs to provide for His kingdom both now and for generations to come.

If you decide to include a bequest to your church, please ensure it is clearly recorded in your legal Will.

It is also important that your wishes are shared with your family so they understand and can honour your intentions.

The needs in our parish are great and varied.

For generations, our parish has stood as a beacon of faith in the Eastern Suburbs.

Our mission is to carry out God’s work by getting to know and grow in our knowledge of Him. And then go to others with the good news of Jesus’ saving grace.

Some of our parish family have left a bequest to ensure we can continue reaching out to all people, young and old: from local families and kids at schools, to those in aged care facilities.

Your Will can help continue this story of faith and provide for our needs: to fund ministry positions to reach youth, families and our community, and for renewing our buildings and equipment.

In our vision for renewal, let us follow the example of the apostle Paul:

“I have become all things to all people so that by all possible means I might save some. I do all this for the sake of the Gospel that I may share in its blessings” (1 Cor 9: 22-23)

A legacy worth leaving

In this life, we are not owners, but stewards of all we have.

By including our church in your Will, you join the line of faithful members who gave to build the foundation on which we and the next generation will stand.

Your bequest is a meaningful way to ensure your faith and commitment make a lasting impact for future generations.

Is this this your wish and Will?
