The annual Hope and Healing service for survivors of abuse is to be held on Monday 4th July at 7:00pm at St John’s Anglican Church, Glebe.

This year the service is to be based on the theme ‘How Long?’. Survivors of abuse, their family, friends and other supporters are warmly invited to attend. The Archbishop Kanishka Raffel will be preaching and making an apology, and the service will also include music, prayer, time for reflection, and supper afterwards. This year we are also including a time of lament in recognition that for those who have experienced abuse, the cry to God of “How long, Lord” is a familiar one.

The dress code for the service is casual/smart casual and we ask that no clergy attire or suits are worn.

For all enquiries please contact PSU Chaplain Belinda Burn (ph. (02) 9265 1500.
