| After a three month overseas trip reconnecting with our children and grandchildren who live in Europe, I was overjoyed to be back live at Moran last week. How special to greet and be enthusiastically greeted by my Moran friends, who to my delight had not forgotten me in my long absence. The Tuesday 2pm gathering is a delightful time of fellowship and praise. Jeff Ware has connected so positively with the Moran residents, and they have quickly grown to value his warm ministry. Jeff and I so appreciate the ministry help at Moran given by Tanya and Verity, who come along and help with readings, prayers and delivering the Bible message. We have just completed a term series on memorable Christians from history, and week by week Jeff, Tanya and Verity told the stories of challenge and faith of such people as Corrie Ten Boom, Dietrich Bonhoeffer and William Wilberforce. We couldn’t do this ministry as effectively without the help of long term SHAP (St Peters) members Ann and Ian Loveridge and Barbara Crouch, so thanks to them! It’s so good to partner in this gospel ministry with some truly outstanding sisters and brothers. Tuesday at Moran is indeed a highlight of my week! |
