Many of you will remember Blaise Itabelo’s visit to SHAP last month where he spoke of his 16 years living in a refugee camp and a new community program called CRISP. Verity Thomson & Louise Kaye are part of a new CRISP group which has started the process of welcoming a refugee family to Australia and we need your help.

All funds raised will be used over the year to resettle a refugee family in Sydney from their first arrival to their housing and living support, schools, language and work. This family will enjoy the support of our group (Supporting Asylum Seekers Sydney SASS Group 6) of 8 local volunteers, their local knowledge and their time, to ensure an easy settlement and adoption for this family in their new home – Australia.
